Monocacy Brewing Co. is in need of a Part-time Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team of craft beer enthusiasts! We’re looking for a customer service-oriented professional, who can safely get the right beer to the correct locations on time. Duties include the operation of a box truck for delivery and pick-up of our products, periodic cleaning and maintenance of draft lines, and occasional staffing of events both at the brewery and in the community. Schedule: every Tuesday-Friday, 25-35 hours per week. Pay commensurate with experience.

Title: Delivery Driver (PT)

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive delivery truck to various accounts to deliver product
• Use of a hand truck to transport product
• Pick up all returns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory
• Courteous and respectful to all customers
• Assist with various assigned warehouse duties as needed
• Support special events at the brewery or in the community as needed

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Record (must provide current 3-year, non-certified driving record)
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds or greater
• Knowledge of roadways in Frederick/DC-Metro/Baltimore regions

Critical Physical Demands:

• Use of hand and foot controls for driving
• Walking and climbing steps and/or stairs
• Frequent two-handed lifting, handling and carrying of packages weighing up to 50 lbs. from floor to overhead levels on a frequent basis
• Pushing/pulling a two-wheel hand truck loaded with products on level surfaces or up and down stairs and ramps on a frequent basis
• Push/pull pallet racks loaded with packages on level surfaces
• Squatting, kneeling, and/or stooping/bending sustained while moving packages at low levels
• Stack package pallets from floor to overhead levels on an occasional to frequent basis
• Occasional lifting of 75+ pounds
